Kiln Overview

The KM Firebox 8×4 LT is perfect for small precious metal clay projects, enameling and other small low fire ceramic projects. Standard features include: Cone Fire Mode, run preprogrammed firing scheduled designed to optimally fire ceramics at the speed, cone number and hold time you input. Ramp and Hold Mode, design your own firing schedule with up to 8 segments including rate, temperature and hold time and even hold in permanent memory up to 6 of your most frequently used programs. Delay and Alarm, after entering a program in either mode the controller will ask you if you want to input a specific temperature for an alarm to sound. Fast firing, you can always fire slower but if you need to go fast this kiln reaches glass fusing temperatures in less than 20 minutes. Safe and easy to use, the hinged lid opens over 90 degrees so it is out of your way when loading or working inside the kiln and can be opened with one ungloved hand thanks to the wooden handle.
