Wide and more shallow, fire your widest projects in this easy to load kiln! Oval kilns like this one are designed for large workloads and projects that do not fit in a typical cylindrical or square shape kiln! This kiln has a maximum temperature of Cone 10 and requires Direct Wiring. All Oval kilns are equipped with Olympic’s proven electrical box design with heat shields to keep the components cool, stackable electric models’ balanced heating elements insure even heating of the kiln chamber under all firing conditions. These models come equipped with pilot light, lid-lift assist, metal stand, and a stainless steel jacket. Olympic Oval models are built with 3” brick and have a 2″ blank brick row in the first section of the kiln to protect the elements when loading and unloading the kiln.
